Hi Jane
Here's a quick and dirty 2-point troubleshooting process:
1) Disconnect all your external devices - all your USB and Firewire devices (printers, iPod, music devices etc). Use it for a day or two and see if that helps. If your computer now behaves itself, then one of those devices is likely causing problems. From the error report, it looks like your USB audio device, or its driver, is possibly causing problems.
2) Go to Disk Utility, in your Applications/Utilities folder. Click on your hard drive on the left side, and then click Repair Permissions. If you see a lot of errors detected and fixed, that might help the issue.

Is your Mac up to date with the latest version of the Mac operating system? Is it using the version required by a product you want to use with your Mac? Which versions are earlier (older) or later (newer, more recent)? To find out, learn which version is installed now.

Which macOS version is installed?

From the Apple menu  in the corner of your screen, choose About This Mac. You should see the macOS name, such as macOS Big Sur, followed by its version number. If you need to know the build number as well, click the version number to see it.
